Monogram

Well, I finally sat down and played around with creating a monogram for the wedding. My best friends husband Michael helped me create one of the them (thanks, Mike) and I created the rest. I am not sure which one that I like the best. I might end up using two, one with the full names on it and one with the initials. I was going to pay someone to do it for me, but I think by me creating it makes it more special, even though it took a little longer. I plan on using the monogram on the invitations, the aisle runner, programs, maybe napkins and chair tags (something neat that I saw on a wedding show on this weekend). What do you think? Are you using a monogram in your wedding?

I think that the J is too large in many of them and in one of the fonts almost looks like a lower case g.

I find when designing things it's best to give it a day or so and come back with a fresh set of eyes and possibly new inspiration. I'm sure you'll have 3-4 more versions before your satisfied. Great start.

I like the first one (to the left of your post) for fancy stuff like the aisle runner or programs. I like the 5th one down (the one with the border) for smaller stuff like labels if you are doing anything with labels. Great job!!
