Invitation SOS

I have been looking for invitations for my wedding. I have flip flopped between making them and buying the kinda that you run through your printer. I want my invitations to be pretty, memorable and not to expensive. I guess my philosophy is that I people are going to throw them away once the wedding is over. I am asking my blogging community for help. Please post your suggestions, resources and help on this subject on this post. I will greatly appreciate it since I need to make a decision by the end of November since they need to be mailed at the end of February.

since you have so much time, why don't you go to a craft store buy paper & cute stencils to write pretty designs for you caligraphy? i did team tee shirts that way & being not so artistic they came out really good. and they have awesome stuff at craft stores.

Make your own!!!! We bought some through a prinitng company and I "prettified" them. In the end we would have saved so much money making them on our own- plus you'd be surprised at how many people told us that they "lost" them. Time wasted! grrr...

If you have patience and creativity - go for the make it yourself route but remember it will be time consuming. Enlist friends to help.

If you would prefer not to trust your creative side (I choose this route) find a printer or a store to do your printing - there are plenty of options to choose from for every price range.

Don't feel confined to do what typical person does. Just assess the resources you have and go for it.

Good luck

Well my suggestion it do what you want and yes your right everyone is just going to throw them away except for the people closet to you but remember you also want them to represent you.
