I Am Uplifted

I had a real uplifting experience this past Saturday, when two of my bridesmaids and I went to be fitted for bras for our wedding attire. I never knew that my breast could be up that high. It felt great. Having the girls in the right place, makes your clothes look great. The bras is a long one so it also acts as a girdle. I can jump, bend over and shake and they will stay in place while I am dancing the night away at the reception and not giving a show to my guest. I never knew that there was a process in putting on a strapless bra. Barbara, the bra fitter and miracle worker, had a cute little saying on how to get the girls in the bra that I am sure that I going to have in my head on my wedding day when I am putting the bra on. My bridesmaids that went with me were very pleased. We all said that it was some of the best money that we have spent.

Also on Saturday I checked on our wedding rings and started our bridal registry, but I will blog about that later.

You can absolutely use my sayings or link me, I dont mind at all! Dont feel behind, I am just having a motivated week. I'm sure my motivation will crash and burn before too long! For the mens baskets, I am basing the stuff on this list I found on Weddingbee: Tylenol Advil
Hairspray
Q-tips
Breath mints
Mouth wash accompanied with mini cups
Contact lens solution
Hand Lotion
Dental Floss
Deodorant Spray
Eye Drops
Band-aids
Rolaids -Tums
Tide Pen
Disposable combs

I dont know about all the stuff, but it is at least a start for us. Hope this helps! Good luck! :)

This totally reminds me of the Oprah show about how most women are not wearing the right bra. Once the women got fitted and had on nice bras that were the right size and fit, they were so much happier with themselves. Sounds like you guys had a similar experience! I'm so happy about the way things are coming together for your wedding. Makes me miss my "planning" days...lol. *sigh*

Do you mind sharing where it was that you went?

I'm with Christy--where did you go? I have little boobs, but I want them to look great on my wedding day without having to get silicone suction cups!!

The person that I went to her name is Barbara and she is throught Alan Ray Bridal. You can reach her here 614-761-1023. Even if you do not live in the area she still may be able to assist you.

Ha, I'm sure I won't have problems with my boobs bouncing around and whatnot (should I be so lucky!), but when I tried on my dress at David's Bridal, they put me in a strapless that actually gave me boobs...I will buy it.
